When ducks turn to an Elephant for protection….
One of our most recent uses has captivated both our minds and hearts. By harnessing the true malleability of our buildings’ steel integrity and versatility, a duck preservation center is installing nine of our custom made buildings to house thousands of ducks at the Patuxent Wildlife Research Center in Maryland. The project will be completed in two phases with the first stage of the project recently coming to a completion. Altogether, we will build and install eight 31’-121’-x-10’ buildings and another 29’-x-66’-x-10’ building. Each building will be outfitted with pens covered with netting. All of this prep work is in anticipation for the upcoming breeding season. In just a matter of a few weeks, our webbed feet friends will have a brand new home! We couldn’t be more excited that our custom fabricated metal buildings are being used for a such a worthy cause!
